Our stories are general information
Every story lists its sources at the bottom, with links, and a human checks it before it goes live. Even so, we can make mistakes, and facts can change after a story is published.
Our stories are not professional advice. What you read in Financial, Health & Food or any other section is not financial, medical or legal advice. For decisions about your money, your health or a legal problem, talk to a qualified professional and check the original sources.

Sharing and copyright
The texts of our stories belong to Ten Magpies Media. You are welcome to share links to them and to quote a short part with a link back to the story. Please don't copy whole stories to other sites without asking us first.
Photos belong to their authors. We use photos with free licences or from the public domain (for example from Unsplash and NASA), and each one shows its source and licence. If you want to reuse a photo, follow the licence shown with it.

- Swearing, threats, hate, links and spam are blocked automatically.
- Anyone can report a comment. When three different people report it, it is hidden automatically.
- We can hide or delete any comment that breaks these rules.
- You are responsible for what you write. Don't post other people's personal details or anything illegal.

Ads, affiliate links and sponsors
The site is free to read and is paid for by ads from Google AdSense. They load only if you accept advertising cookies. Google chooses which ads to show, not us.
Right now there are no affiliate links and no sponsored stories on the site. If we ever add them, they will be clearly marked as such, right where you see them.
Links to other sites
Our stories link to their sources, and the site links to our social pages. Those sites are not ours, and their own rules apply there.
